Dr. Thomas Niederman is originally from California and graduated summa cum laude from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He enrolled in the Medical Scientist Training Program at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis where he obtained both his M.D. and Ph.D. doctorates. He then traveled to Boston and completed his internal medicine residency training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Harvard Medical School) and his medical oncology fellowship training at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Harvard Cancer Center). He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Niederman has received numerous awards and appointments in the past for his academic and clinical achievements. He was the head of the division of Hematology and Oncology at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston before starting in private practice in Boynton Beach. He is an Affiliate Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine / Florida Atlantic University campus and is dedicated to teaching medical students and training residents in internal medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Niederman enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and working on his book related to the treatment of people with cancer.
